I consider myself a contemporary abstract artist. Self-taught, I started in photography which morphed into abstraction early on. Drifting and searching led me to work in several different mediums such as print making, encaustic, acrylic, oils/cold wax, and mixed media. My art is embodied in a distinct use of color, form, texture, and layering technique. I explore the relationship and emotional qualities that are expressed when combining these elements in my work.
