Hidden in my sarcasm and judgment, are my  perspectives on the complexities of our society. By inviting viewers to engage with the subtleness within the images, my storytelling reveals the recondite beneath the surface exposing our vulnerability.

For me, painting is a fundamentally cynical, violent, derisively passionate act which I use to embrace the ugliness in this world and the darkness within me. It is crucial for me to confront the aspects of life most people turn away from; art is the forum that allows me to go deeper in an attempt to experience going too far.

I'm driven to make up for the time lost while I was being pushed to fit into a prescriptive lifestyle. With that chapter behind me, I paint as my only means to explore the truth and absurdity about what it is for me to be.
