I found these abandoned shoes while hiking the Cathedral Rock trail in Sedona. I'm guessing that their owner realized that they couldn't make the additional 500 feet of altitude gain in heels. The photo's title comes from a favorite children's book that I use to read my daughters by Carmela LaVigna Coyle
